RCMP are investigating after a fire Tuesday afternoon completely destroyed a church building.
Officers from Ste. Rose du Lac responded to a structure fire in the RM of Alonso just before 5 p.m. the RCMP says in a release.
RCMP along with the Rorketon Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services attended and the church was fully engulfed with flames. It’s believed that no one was inside at the time of the fire.
Mounties say the building was no longer in use.
