No one was injured after a fire tore through a West End Apartment complex Tuesday evening.

Fire crews responded to a two-storey apartment building in the 700 block of Wellington Avenue at around 8:18 p.m. 

When crews arrived at the scene, they encountered smoke coming from the structure. An offensive attack was launched, and the fire was under control at 8:41 p.m.

All occupants of the building self-evacuated before crews arrived on scene.
 
There is no word on a cause or damage estimate at this time.
 
The fire remains under investigation.
