Children can soon skate, swim, and dance their way through the rest of 2020.

Staring Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. the City of Winnipeg is taking registration for its Fall Leisure Guide. Winnipeggers of all ages can register for activities.

For non-residents, registration opens on Thursday.

Registration can be done online, in person, or though 311.

The City says extra precautionary measures, such as taking the provincial self-assesment tool and limiting capacity, will help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba's Cheif Provicnal Health Officer, says it is safe for children to take up activities as long as they practice distancing and follow the fundamentals.

The City is reminding residents that masks are required at all City-owned buildings, with some exceptions.
