With the weekend's forecast looking like summer isn't quite over yet, here's how you can get the most out of your outdoor adventures without breaking the bank.
Strap on your hiking boots, pump up your bike tires, or grab a towel and umbrella one last time this year, to take advantage of free access to all provincial parks this weekend in Manitoba.
From September 1 to September 4, all Manitoba parks will have free admission to the public, offering a perfect long weekend escape before the busy back-to-school season officially begins.
Favourite parks you might want to plan to visit include Birds Hill Provincial Park, St. Malo Provincial Park, and Winnipeg Beach Provincial Park. All these feature beach areas with a waterfront, as well as hiking opportunities and of course, the opportunity to commune with nature.
The Manitoba Government has a full list of provincial parks and their resources on their website.
