Christmas is coming early for Dolly Parton fans as she brings cheer during an unusual time.

This fall, Parton is bringing Christmas joy to fans by releasing a new Christmas album, A Holly Dolly Christmas.

"I figured since everybody probably wouldn’t get to celebrate Christmas, as usual, this year, I wanted to be creative instead of sitting around at the house this summer," Parton says in a release.

Instead of staying idle, Parton spent the warm summer months getting to work on her first Christmas album in 30 years.

"I put on my mask, gloves and practiced social distancing, as well as all of the wonderful musicians and singers, and we proceeded to put together what I think is some of the best work that I’ve ever done."

The singer shares that she is excited to release the album.

"The secret is out! ‘A Holly Dolly Christmas’ is coming on October 2

❤️
The album features some of my favorite people," Parton shares in a Facebook post.

Parton will be sharing the spotlight with other artists such as Canadian crooner Michael Buble and her own brother, Randy Parton.

A Holly Dolly Christmas will feature Christmas classics such as "Mary, Did You Know?" as well as new tracks. She hopes her new Christmas music will become classics for the ages.

Half of the album's 12 tracks are original songs.

Recently, Parton has been partnering with Christian artists such as Zach Williams and for KING & COUNTRY.

Her and William's track "There was Jesus" gave the esteemed singer her first-ever Hot Christian Songs and Christian Airplay top spot last month.
