St. Therese Child Care is finding hope even after the loss of their facility and now they are hoping their toy drive will replace the lost toys.

On Friday, June 30, St. Therese Child Care caught fire. Four of the six rooms the daycare used at Parroquia Nuestra Senora De La Asuncion parish are a complete loss, while one can be partly saved. All the toys were lost due to fire or smoke damage.

This evening, July 11, the daycare is hosting a toy drive, hoping to replace everything that they lost in the daycare fire. Staff will be at the Glenwood Community Centre at 27 Overton Street collecting donations and handing out freezies.

The daycare needs toys, play pens, high chairs, art supplies, books, puzzles and more. Staff will be on location from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
