Carrie Underwood and her husband are sharing how faith has brought them through some of their toughest moments.

Carrie Underwood and her husband, former NHLer Mike Fisher are releasing a four-part video series with I Am Second. The non-profit is highlighting the couple's faith and growth with God.

In 2014, Fisher was featured with I Am Second, but six years later, the athlete is bringing his wife along to share their stories.

Underwood says that she hopes her story will be impactful to viewers.

“We wanted to do this to share some of our personal journeys in hopes that viewers will be inspired by it, and maybe even take one more step in pursuing a relationship with God,” Underwood says in a statement.

The couple shares that they are very different, but that their faith is the "backbone" to their marriage.

So far, the couple has released videos highlighting their struggles with miscarriages and how they are finding strength in God.

The couple's series, God & Country, will be releasing one new video a week for four weeks.
