Westbound traffic on the Trans-Canada Highway is moving once again following a collision Wednesday morning.

The Manitoba RCMP says emergency crews responded to the crash before 9 a.m.

The highway was closed while crews responded and the scene was cleared.

There is no word on the number of vehicles involved or injuries at this time.

Highways throughout southern Manitoba are ice-covered and slippery after 3-5 cm fell in the region Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.
