Winnipeggers will be able to fully access 911 services from their cell phones following a service disruption.

"Full service has been restored. We continue to investigate the cause of the disruption and apologize for the inconvenience," a Bell MTS spokesperson says.

On Wednesday some Bell MTS customers experienced network issues, including accessing 911.

The Winnipeg Police Service says access to 911 may be a challenge for some Bell MTS customers Wednesday.

Due to a network issue with Bell MTS, some users may have had issues reaching 911. 

Bell MTS says some of their wireless customers were experiencing intermittent service issues. They are currently investigating the cause of the issue.

"Our team is investigating and working to resolve as soon as possible," Bell MTS says in an email sent to CHVN.

There was no time estimate given for how long the network will be affected.

The WPS was asking people to use a landline or other network provider to call.
