We're back with our Brewed with Gratitude and this week CHVN brought coffee and muffins to the Prairie Nature Children's Centre daycare in Winnipeg.
"I want to thank you for the coffee, the muffins and the encouragement you brought to us at Praire Nature Children’s Centre today. I work with an amazing team of Early Childhood Educators and Child Care Assistants," says Heidi Dueck, who was nominated.
Two members from CHVN radio dropped off a coffee break on January 21, as a way to thank the frontline workers who've selflessly given their time and energy to others during the pandemic. This includes daycare workers.
"In a field that requires so much giving to our children and their families the gift of your time and thanks meant the world to us. Thank you for acknowledging that childcare is essential. It has been a personal mission of mine to help spread that message. Families need care," says Dueck.
Johan DeVries nominated Dueck for the break.
"Thank you for honouring not just me, not just our Centre but our field as childcare professionals. Thank you and God bless you. May His face shine upon you and give you rest," she says.
