Pastor, author, and theologian Timothy Keller shares an update of his health, giving more positive results.

Keller first announced he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2020, saying at the time he wasn't sick and was without symptoms. "It was what doctors call an 'incidental pickup,' otherwise known as providential intervention," Keller said in his announcement.

Then in February, he let people know after going through 14 rounds of chemotherapy, the tumours shrunk in size.

"Cancer Update: I had a scan in May that was extremely encouraging, showing no cancer growth under less aggressive chemotherapy. A surgery at the end of May removed several nodules that had remained unchanged for 9 months," he says in his latest Facebook post.

There is one primary tumour on Keller's pancreas at this point.

"We are praying that it will decrease to the point of invisibility or remain unchanged. In any event, we want to glorify God by “running the race set before us with perseverance” (Hebrews 12:1-2)-- knowing that he is always loving, wise, and good."

Keller asks people to continue praying for his recovery and life continues on.

"Meanwhile, I am very well, writing, speaking (via zoom) and enjoying my grandchildren. Thanks so much for continuing to pray!"
