Jamaal Westerman and Jake Thomas, the program ambassadors, will lead workshops and presentation, which review various forms of violence against women. They also teach how men and boys can be allies for women and create a safe community.

The Blue Bombers have been campaining to stop violence against women for many years. Topics covered include sexual assault statistics, being "one of the guys", gender-based violence, damage to children and more.

"Violence against Women is a men's issue," said Wade Miller, CEO and President of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in a release. "We're proud of our players who are stepping up to be role models and offering high school students the tools they need to be more than bystanders when they see negative behaviors happening in their communities."
