Following a temporary pause, the Bear Clan Patrol will be back on the streets.

Pausing due to COVID-19 restrictions, Bear Clan went into a short hibernation period. Now, the group is announcing they will be back on Wednesday.

"Manitoba's Emergency Measures has given us the go-ahead to resume patrols during the code red lockdown as we are an essential service," the group posts on Facebook.

They will continue to patrol during the day. Bear Clan says they will continue to ensure safety and improve their ability to remove and dispose of any hazardous needles and potentially hazardous weapons.

"Your Bear Clan is here for the community."

They will resume their patrols in Elmwood, the North End, Point Douglas, West Broadway, and the West End.
