Winnipeg's COVID-19 five-day test positivity rate is 3.9 per cent.

There are 98 new cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba, including 57 new cases in Winnipeg.

Other new cases include:

  • three cases in the Interlake-Eastern health region; 
  • 31 cases in the Northern health region;  
  • four cases in the Prairie Mountain Health region;  
  • three cases in the Southern Health–Santé Sud health region

Province-wide, the test positivity rate is at 5.3 per cent. Officials say 1,575 tests were completed Monday, totalling 566,327 since February 2020.

A woman from Winnipeg in her 80s has died. In total, 929 Manitobas have died from COVID-19. There are 1,247 active cases and 31,335 COVID-19 recovered. 

Sixty-three people are in hospital with active COVID-19. The province says 79 people in hospital with COVID-19 are no longer infectious. In intensive care,  11 people are active cases and 14 are no longer infectious.

No new varients of concern were identified Tuesday, leaving the total number of confirmed variant of concern cases of B.1.1.7 at 63 and B.1.351 at 14. This brings the total number of confirmed variant of concern cases at a pause of 77.
