Attacks earlier this month has left Christians in Burkina Faso fleeing for their lives.

Two identical attacks by Islamist extremists left over two dozen dead earlier this month in Burkina Faso, according to Barnabas Aid.

The town of Arbinda and Namentenga province were targeted in the twin attacks. 19 were killed in Arbinda on Sunday, June 9. The following day, 10 more were murdered in Namentenga province.

The organization reports that no Christians currently remain in Arbinda, as the entire Christian population fled after the attack.

Four prior attacks also left 20 dead. In northern Burkina Faso a total of 82 pastors and 1,145 Christians have fled.
