22-year-old arrested in death of southern Manitoba woman

RCMP say they've made an arrest in the death of a 61-year-old woman in southern Manitoba.

Police say officers from the Killarney detachment found the woman dead inside a home in Ninette when they went to check on the well-being of a female on Friday morning.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

Nicholas Mass has been charged with second-degree murder and was remanded into custody.
