One teenager found out that using science as an excuse for speeding will not get you out of a ticket.
Manitoba RCMP shared a tweet online Friday at a driver's expense after they caught him driving 162 kilometres per hour in a 90 kilometre per hour area along Manitoba highway 331.
The excuse the 18-year-old driver gave for his speed, however, was what later received a chuckle from RCMP.
Officers tweeted that the young driver said he was driving more than 70 kilometres over the speed limit in order to "dry off" his freshly-washed truck.

"Procedure: 18yo with a freshly washed truck went 162 in a 90 to “dry it off.'"
Unfortunately, instead of receiving a scientific result, the driver received a $992 fine and a review of his license has been ordered.
"Conclusion: #noexuses," says the RCMP.
